Call for Submissions

Call for artists open 10th April – 2nd May
Deadline for registration: Monday 2nd May 2011 at 5pm

A small curatorial team will be bringing together a diverse range of artists in the Mapalim Gallery, Kentish Town, London for a week-long exhibition from 19th May – 25th May 2011 which forms part of a 3 week programme of ‘Come What May’ events.

The selectors will look to create an exhibition that presents diverse art works interpreting the theme ‘Facing the Unknown’ through painting, drawing, installation, sculpture, performance, photography or any other relevant art form.

To register your application, please email high resolution images of your work and a short summary of your proposed work for inclusion in the exhibition including dimensions and any venue/ resource requirements. Please also specify if there are any relevant activities/ talks/ workshops that you would be willing to be involved in as part of the concurrently running outreach programme.

Artists that have been selected will be informed by email or telephone by 6th May. The artworks must be delivered to the venue on the 18th May and be ready for installation.
